 Sterling
J. Crockett is the founder of Crockett
Financial Services, Inc. Born and raised in
Salt Lake City, Utah, he attended the
University of Utah where he earned a degree in
finance. Following his graduation from the U of
U, he began his career at Amerprise Financial.
While at Ameriprise he received two and a half
years of rigorous financial planning training
and learned to help people from all walks
of life plan for their futures and reach their
financial goals.
Along with his
experience in the industry, Sterling has
continued to educate himself and demonstrate
proficiency in his field by earning the
prestigious designation of Chartered Retirement
Planning CounselorSM,
(CRPC®). Currently he is working toward
becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®)
practitioner as well. With his educational
background and years of working in the financial
services industry, he possesses the
qualifications, skills and experience to help
families reach their dreams.
In his spare time,
Sterling enjoys fly fishing, playing golf,
skiing and spending time with his family. He
and his wife Melanie live in Salt Lake
City, Utah.
